Hedging Solutions regional managers came together in London for the annual Management Offsite, for two days of discussion, reflection and planning.
It was an opportunity to review the business, reflect on previously set targets and align on future ambitions.
Looking ahead
Nilesh Jethwa, CEO of Marex Solutions, and David Cohen, Head of Hedging Solutions,discussed the strategic direction of the business, reinforcing the importance of maintaining a strong culture, an entrepreneurial mindset and collaborative approach as the business continues to evolve.
Growth was at the centre of the discussions with each region pitching three ideas to fuel the business ambitions.
The team explored opportunities from expansion into new markets, strengthening local presence in key jurisdictions, developing new products and capabilities, to enhancing distribution, increasing digital adoption and utilising technology and AI to better support both clients and internal teams.
Alongside these objectives, regional leaders shared perspectives on the challenges and opportunities they see within their own markets, creating an open forum for debate, collaboration across the global business.
Technology and innovation
Technology, digitalisation and AI featured prominently throughout the discussions. Sessions explored how continued investment in digital capabilities is helping improve client engagement, enhance operational efficiency and support the scalability of the business.
The conversations also focused on the importance of building the infrastructure, processes and operating models needed to support future growth.
Where ideas are challenged and shared
It was also an opportunity to simply get together. With teams across multiple regions and time zones, the offsite provided invaluable space for in person connection.
While many ideas were discussed, a common theme emerged: future growth will be driven not only by new opportunities and innovation, but also by the strength of the people, culture and collaboration.
