Marex Solutions department has some of the most experienced teams in the world, specialising in the manufacture and distribution of customised derivative products across Equities, Commodities, Credit, FX, Funds, Fixed Income and Digital Assets. These products are distributed to customers through two specialist channels: Risk Management and Financial Products
This role sits within the financial products team and focuses on the institutional client market which includes Asset Managers, Hedge funds, Insurance companies, Pension funds and Family offices amongst others.
Role Summary
An ambitious, and proactive individual, driving the development of our Institutional Solutions offering in France and more broadly across Europe. Position requiring the ability to work autonomously, and also as part of a team and directly engage with clients and internal counterparts. Commercial ability to maintain good relationship with existing clients and bring new ones.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality sales coverage for France and also across the EMEA region for the institutional clients of Marex Solutions.
- Create value and capture revenues from existing client base as well as developing your own new client pipeline.
- Liaise with Internal Stakeholders across the business (Credit / Compliance / Legal / Onboarding / Ops / Trading / Risk) to ensure compliance with the company’s policies and procedures with regards to day-to-day business activity and client communication.
- Expected to build and manage own direct client base, contributing to the growth of the EMEA Institutional Solutions business.
- Responsible for assisting with the onboarding of any new client relationships and maintaining of existing client relationships, assisting with support processes as required by colleagues, and engaging and updating clients.
- Working efficiently and supporting with making efficiencies e.g. assisting in the preparation of any new required frameworks.
- Strategising to increase P&L, requiring analysis of markets and products, and seek to find opportunities to synergise with other areas of the Solutions business.
- Ensuring compliance with the company’s regulatory requirements under the FCA and other local regulations as applicable.
- Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with.

- To ensure that you are fully aware of and adhere to internal policies that relate to you, your role or any other activities for which you have any level of responsibility
- To report any breaches of policy to Compliance and/ or your supervisor as required

- To provide input to risk management processes, as required.
Skills and Experience
- 5 years’ prior experience* working in financial markets at a sell side organisation
- A deep understanding of structured products and derivatives particularly OTC (hedging and overlays), Structured notes, and QIS gained from working at a sell side organisation.
- A good knowledge of wider financial derivatives and how these can be used/structured to help clients to manage their underlying risk.
- Strong analytical skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of the financial service markets and relevant regulatory requirements
- Experience working in a regulated environment and knowledge of the risk and compliance requirements associated with this
- FCA and or local certification
- Language skills: knowledge of one or more European languages will be a plus
